Case Study - Mixed Medias

This was a Typography project and turned out to be one of my favorites.

The brief required a Quote Booklet using mixed medias. I chose Italy without knowing that at the time (March 2020)  the country was about to be the one suffering the most with COVID-19.

I lived there for some months back in the day and throughout the process I realized this was a chance to show my love and appreciation for  that beautiful Country and also to use the inspiration I have learned from it. 

I would dedicate myself to this project with love. Italians love their handmade leather journals, the artisan soul for arts and food, their love for wine and coffee.

First I did some research about quotes related to Italy or famous Italian quotes. From there I began my journey of painting with Wine and Coffee  and trying to come up with a finished leather Booklet.
